Recreational Vehicle Information FAQs

Is an RV Pre-sale inspection the same as a Maryland state vehicle safety Inspection?

A Pre-sale Inspection conducted by All Around RV Inspections is completed prior to the sale of the RV. Both the house portion of the RV and the mechanical portion of the RV are inspected. At the completion of the inspection, the client receives a report that includes a list of all of the items that were inspected and their condition. This list can be used to either negotiate with the seller or simply ensure that everything is repaired or at least noted before you pay for the RV. It is gennerally easier to get items repaired prior to the sale than after the transaction has taken place.

A Maryland safety Inspection meets the requirement to register your RV in Maryland and is focused on the mechanical and safe devices on the RV required for safe movement on the highways.
